To all my colleagues,
This year, 17th National Congress of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association will be the main meeting of all the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association activities and it will be held at the Shangri-la Hotel on the 24 - 27 November 2010.
The National Congress, which is held every two year period, is a very important meeting for all our members. Business agenda as well as scientific activities will be the highlights of this meeting. As the world is still troubled by its economic problems, surely this will also, to some extent, affect the orthopaedic community as well, since we are all becoming more depended on high technology tools and implants. On the other hand, we are also facing year 2011 as the last year of the 5 year period of P2KB, and I am not sure whether all the Indonesian Orthopaedic community are aware of all the difficulties in filling in the forms through the P2KB-IDI website. The scientific arrangement is designed to benefit the active members of IOA in addressing problems of the shoulder, ankle and foot. Especially foot problems in the adult have always been considered ‘unimportant’, as can be noticed from the lack of addressing this problems in many of our meetings.
Therefore, on behalf of the organizing committee, I kindly urge and invite you to this very important occasion. Please plan to bring along your family members and enjoy the joyful shopping and culinary experience in the heart of Jakarta.
Your active support will be highly appreciated, not only by us but also by the whole Indonesian Orthopaedic community.
